Questions, answered
What does the free audit check?
It fetches one URL the way AI and search crawlers do, then runs 30 weighted checks across four pillars: Reach, Read, Understand and Act. You get a score out of 100, the single fix to make first, and the verdict for each crawler in your robots.txt.
Why no JavaScript?
GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and the on-demand fetchers read the HTML the server sends. Content that only appears after JavaScript runs is invisible to them, so the audit never uses a headless browser.
How is the score calculated?
Each check passes (full points), warns (half) or fails (none), weighted by importance. Pillars count 30% Reach, 25% Read, 30% Understand, 15% Act. A page crawlers can't reach is capped at 20, and a JavaScript-only shell at 40.
Does blocking training crawlers lower the score?
No. Blocking GPTBot, CCBot or Google-Extended is a policy choice and is only listed. Blocking AI search and on-demand fetchers does cost points, because it stops assistants citing the page.
What do memberships cost?

How fresh are results?
Results are cached for 24 hours per URL. Use Re-run to fetch again. Fresh audits are limited to 10 per hour.
